Cancellation Policy

A sample policy for a demo store. Dewlune takes no real orders. Mercayo wrote this text from the store's details; words in [square brackets] are choices a real store makes before it opens.

Effective date: 23 October 2026

1. Cancelling your order

1.1 You can cancel an order the order is dispatched, free of charge. Use the Track Order page, or contact us at dewlune.demo@mercayo.com or +91 00000 00000.

1.2 After it has shipped, you can no longer cancel it online.

• Prepaid orders: you may refuse the parcel at delivery. Once it is back with us, we refund it as our Shipping Policy (section 7) explains.
• COD orders: you may refuse the parcel.

1.3 Unpaid online orders are cancelled automatically after 30 minutes, and nothing is charged.

2. When we cancel

2.1 We may cancel an order before dispatch if:

• the item is out of stock;
• we cannot deliver to your PIN code;
• there was an obvious error in the price or description;
• we reasonably suspect fraud.

2.2 If we cancel, you get a full refund of everything you paid, including any COD charge or advance. We tell you why.

3. Your rights

You always get a full refund, including any amount paid online for COD, if you cancel or refuse an order because:

• we did not deliver by the date we gave you;
• the item is defective, damaged, wrong or not as described.

We do not charge cancellation fees, except as this policy states, and only where the law allows it (Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, rule 4(8)).

4. Refund timing

Refunds are made within 7 working days of the cancellation, to the method described in our Returns, Exchanges and Refunds Policy (section 6).
